WE ARE DEEPLY SADDENED BY THE FIRST MURDER EVER IN THE HISTORY OF DEWEY BEACH

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Danielle Mehlman, a young mother that was visiting our town last week. Ms Mehlman's murder was discovered on June 18. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy goes out to her family in this very difficult time. This tragedy is the first homicide in Dewey Beach and we are committed to working with the investigators to bring closure for the family. Danielle's memory weighs heavily on our hearts.”
