Dewey Beach's Comprehensive Plan Provides a Vision for the Future

THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF DEWEY BEACH, DELAWARE

 OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE:

 

“Dewey Beach’s Comprehensive Plan provides a vision for the future”.  It addresses issues such as land use and density, development and growth, environmental protection, transportation, economic development, public services and facilities.  A 5 year review of the Town’s Comprehensive Plan allows all levels of government to come into agreement about how and where Dewey Beach will grow and that the Town will grow intelligently.

 

The Planning Commission would like to call your attention to a very important Public Hearing scheduled for Thursday, August 30th beginning at 6:30 P.M. at the Life Saving Station on Dagsworthy Street.

 

The Planning Commission has completed its review of the Comprehensive Plan which was certified on August 29, 2007 as required by the Office of State Planning.   At this meeting the Planning Commission along with land use Attorney John Paradee will present the amended draft of the Comprehensive Plan to the Commissioners of Dewey Beach and the Public.

 

All interested persons are urged to attend.
