 The pumper is gone and the beaches are fully opened. The apparatus that had been moored off Bellevue street was towed off toward Bethany Beach on Sunday.

For those who didn't see it, the picture above shows the sand/water mix surging out of the distributor at the beach end of the pipe, a bulldozer pushing the sand around, and the smaller of the two dredges pumping the mix into the sea end of the pipe.The video linked below shows "the claw" moving pipe sections on the beach.
