HURRICANE HARVEY MADE LANDFALL ON THE GULF COAST OF TEXAS ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 25TH AS A CATEGORY 4 STORM.

 

MANY PEOPLE AND PETS HAVE LOST SOME IF NOT ALL OF THEIR BELONGINGS IN THE DESTRUCTION OF THE STORM.

 

AFTER  REACHING OUT TO NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE HOUSTON AREA, WE HAVE COMPILED A LIST OF ITEMS THAT ARE STILL NEEDED. THE TOWN OF DEWEY BEACH IS COLLECTING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS THAT WILL BE DELIVERED TO HOUSTON:

Bottled  water

Non-perishable food

Tarps

Trash Bags

Cleaning supplies

Flash lights and batteries

Dry goods (paper towels, etc.)

Plastic totes

Cat food

Dog food

Dog leashes

Gatorade

Hygiene items

First-aid items

New pillows

Baby diapers

Adult diapers

 

ITEMS WILL BE COLLECTED AT DEWEY BEACH TOWN HALL UNTIL

4:00PM ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH.
