This application should only be completed if:

• You are applying for a business license for the first time in Dewey Beach.
• It has been more than one year since you have renewed your license with the Town of Dewey Beach.
• You are renewing your license and need to update your information.

Every entity doing business in Dewey Beach is required to obtain a business license. After your application and payment are received, a copy of your license will be e- mailed to you. Please ensure a copy of the license paperwork is available in each work vehicle. In town businesses with a brick-and-mortar location in Dewey Beach will also receive a decal which should be placed in a front window where it is easily visible from the street.  

The penalty for conducting business in Dewey Beach without a town business license is a late fee of 10% of the fee owed, plus a fine of $500.00, in addition to the cost of the appropriate business license.
